Storyboard Exercise

Storyboard model sheet

I was put in a group with three of my colleagues: Jake, Lily and Gina. We discussed the storyboard, decided on a backstory and assigned roles for each member.  Jake was in charge of operating the camera (iPhone), Lily was the director and gave instructions to both Gina and I who did the acting.

We struggled with sound as there were loud background noises which made our dialogue unclear. The lighting was also difficult to control as well as we switched constantly from indoors to outdoors- light to dark. However, the angles and shots' composition were interesting and well done.

This task taught me that proper camera, sound and light equipment is needed to create a high-quality product. I also learned that when shooting outdoors it's harder to shoot as you have no control of the lighting, weather, background noises, etc.
